1. After you've downloaded and extracted the contents of the mood theme's *.rar file, go to the Admin Console at LiveJournal.Com and enter moodtheme_create "MOOD THEME TITLE" "MOOD THEME SUBTITLE" in the box -- replacing the capitalized text with your own -- then hit the execute button.
2. The next page should say Success. Your new moodthemeid=#####. Save that number, and for God's sake, don't close the window. I mean it.
3. Open up the text file that came with this mood theme. Replace 12345 with your moodthemeid. Replace www.yourdomain.com with wherever the images are located on your server.
4. Upload the mood theme to your own server or your very own free Photobucket account. I don't have enough bandwidth to host the theme for fifty or sixty different people, so I'm not even going to host it for one person, no matter how much I like them. Sorry!
5. Go back to the Admin Console page that you left open, and paste the edited contents of the text file into the box.
6. Hit the execute button.
7. This is where you find out if you fucked up or not. If you did everything right, it should say Data Inserted over and over, all the way down the page. However, if you fucked it up, you have to go back to the main Admin Console page and start from step 1.
8. If you didn't get an error message, then proceed to the Modify Journal page at LiveJournal.Com. See the drop-down menu where you select your mood theme? Select your new mood theme from the bottom of the menu.
9. Hit the save changes button.
10. Enjoy your mood theme, and please don't forget to credit me [quackaddict] in your userinfo.

3. If you use Generator for your LJ layout, then paste the following at the top of your entry, making sure not to specify a regular mood or music [do not use LJ's Rich Text editor to update with this code]:
<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0">
<tr> <td class="meta">[</td> <td class="meta" align="right"><b>Current Mood</b></td>
<td class="meta" align="center">|</td><td class="meta">happy <img src="http://www.yourdomain.com/mood.png"></td> <td class="meta">]</td></tr>
<tr> <td class="meta">[</td> <td class="meta" align="right"><b>Current Music</b></td>
<td class="meta" align="center">|</td><td class="meta">Current Song</td><td class="meta">]</td></tr></table>
4. Continuing with the Generator thing, edit http://www.yourdomain.com/mood.png to the URL on your server of whichever mood icon you wish to use. Edit all other text until you're satisfied.
5. If you don't use Generator, here's a bit of code to add your mood and music to the bottom of the entries [or, you know, wherever] in your free LJ [make sure not to use the Rich Text Editor or specify a regular mood or music when posting]:
Current Mood: <img src="http://www.yourdomain.com/mood.png"> mood text
Current Music: Current Song
6. Replace the URL of the mood icon with that of the one [on your server!] that you wish to use. Edit all other text until you're satisfied.
7. Enjoy your mood theme, and please don't forget to credit me [quackaddict] in your userinfo.
